Located near Sunny Cove and just minutes from Pleasure Point, it feels more like a local beach than a tourist destination.

In the morning, surfers paddle into the lineup while walkers trace the edge of the water with coffee in hand. Pelicans skim low across the waves. Dogs race through the surf. The first sunlight spreads across Monterey Bay.

Because the beach is so close, there is no schedule to follow.

Walk down before breakfast.

Come back for lunch.

Return in the evening to watch the sunset.
